COMMITMENT TO SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
At INGECID, we understand business success as a combination of results and purpose. Therefore, we are committed to a responsible, ethical, and environmentally conscious way of doing business.
Through our CSR program, we work to generate a positive impact on society, especially among those groups most in need. We firmly believe that every small action counts and that our growth must always be accompanied by a commitment to people and their well-being.
/ “HESHIMA” Project
CARE, SUPPORT, TRANSFORM
The HESHIMA project (meaning “respect” in Swahili) represents the heart of our CSR. Through it, we promote initiatives to support and improve the quality of life for two key groups:
Elderly care homes
Activities in various rural care homes led by different professionals who will develop activities aimed at revitalizing the routine and quality of life of the elderly, breaking monotony and stimulating cognition and emotions.
Day centers and adolescence
Provide educational and recreational opportunities, facilitating access to sports and cultural activities to improve development prospects and offer an opportunity for personal growth for minors.
/ Fostering young talent
INGECID SCHOLARSHIPS
At INGECID, we are committed to the future, and that means investing in young people.
Each year, we award scholarships to support children and adolescents in developing their passions—whether in the artistic, sports, or educational fields—facilitating access to training and resources that enhance their talent.
/ Global commitment
INTERVENTION IN SOUTH AFRICA
Our responsibility does not stop in our immediate environment. We also collaborate internationally, and currently support the Boundless Foundation organization in South Africa.
With them, we contribute to the future of vulnerable young people through projects that provide access to training, employment, and basic resources. One of our latest actions has focused on improving hygiene and health in educational centers, promoting the installation of sanitary bins in girls’ restrooms.
