DISRUPTIVE PROJECTS IN STRATEGIC SECTORS

Design of a new component to reduce radiation dose from spent fuel containers, based on interlocking concrete rings. The module is engineered to minimize structural and thermal impact on the containers.

Development of a new modular jacket substructure concept and an innovative installation process that eliminates the need for large floating cranes. The primary goals are to double the fixed substructure market, achieve a 30% cost reduction compared to floating solutions, and increase production capacity at ports.

The Cognitive Hospital project involved creating a digital twin of the hospital built on the VIRCORE platform. It aims to optimize overall hospital management by connecting multiple specialized modules to a central platform.

Project aimed at finding solutions to optimize storage space for low- and medium-activity waste. This includes developing a new drum concept that maximizes storage capacity while ensuring compatibility with standard handling equipment, mass production, and ADR compliance. It also involves creating high-shielding mortars and micro-concretes to reduce contact dose in containers, thereby optimizing the amount of waste that can be managed when dose limitations are most restrictive.
