INGECID’s involvement in the Bank Underground Station capacity upgrade project in London was structured in three phases.
In the first phase, starting from 2D documentation, an advanced 3D model was created, incorporating detailed information for each element (BIM model). This modelling process was carried out using Revit Architecture and 3DS Max.

In the second phase, INGECID analyzed several possible schedules using Primavera Project Planner and developed a 4D construction plan by linking the 3D model to the schedule through Autodesk Navisworks Manage. This enabled clash detection and optimized the construction process.

Finally, in the third phase, an interactive model was developed using virtual reality technology on the BIM model, with Unreal Engine 4.

The work was published in the UK technical magazine NCE – New Civil Engineer, highlighting the project’s focus on added value and long-term social benefit.
