Torre Nabralift

INGECID carried out the design of the pile foundations for the NABRALIFT tower at NABRAWIND TECHNOLOGIES, built in the Oualidia wind farm in Morocco. This wind turbine, with a hub height of 144 meters and equipped with a 3.6 MW wind generator, became the tallest on the African continent.

The project stood out for its high technical complexity, requiring a deep foundation system capable of supporting loads of hundreds of tons, both in compression and tension. Each of the three legs supporting the tower was founded using a patented deep piling system, designed to optimize structural and material resources. This solution reduced the volume of concrete by 80% compared to standard solutions, improving the sustainability and construction efficiency of the project.

The scope of work included structural calculations for the foundations, defining the construction process, and supervising quality control to ensure the required tolerances were met during all phases of installation.

In addition, INGECID developed a three-dimensional model of the reinforcement, which facilitated early detection of interference and optimized on-site assembly, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the process.

This project consolidated INGECID's experience in the field of advanced civil engineering applied to renewable energy, combining structural innovation, technical precision, and a commitment to sustainability.
