NGECID designs and develops the Decommissioning Management System (SGDes) for ENRESA, as part of the entity's Strategic Systems Plan. The aim of the project is to adopt digital solutions based on BIM methodology to optimize the technical, documentary, and operational management of nuclear facility decommissioning processes.
The solution is developed on the VIRCORE platform, allowing data to be managed and shared collaboratively, centrally, and securely, in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the nuclear sector.
Vircore-SGDes integrates specific modules such as: Administration, Inventory, Work Authorization Request (SAT), Materials Management, Shipments, Warehouses, License Bases, Training, Dosimetry, Radiological Monitoring, and Mobility.
The integrated modules communicate with the information and management systems of ENRESA's digital ecosystem and guarantee, among other things:
Comprehensive support in the management and control of access to the system, as well as the administration of permissions.
Obtain direct relationships between inventory components, zones, SATs, and radiological analyses.
Monitor and approve work performed, standardizing processes and facilitating their traceability.
Provide a field tool that allows for the management, recording, validation, and monitoring of operational activities directly from mobile devices.
On the other hand, INGECID has developed a 3D model of the Santa María de Garoña Nuclear Power Plant (CN SMG), called NPPIM (Nuclear Power Plant Information Modeling), which combines geometric, physical, and radiological information about the facility. This digital twin allows for the optimization of planning and control of the decommissioning processes.
This project, together with the FLYT project for the planning of decommissioning and waste management at Norwegian experimental nuclear power plants (carried out for the Norwegian Administration NND), consolidates Ingecid as one of the international leaders in the development of tools for the decommissioning of nuclear facilities.
*Project aligned with UNE-EN ISO 19650:2019 and UNE-EN ISO/IEC 27001:2017 standards.
