INGECID led the first phase of BIM implementation at the Port Authority of Pasaia, focusing on people, processes, and technology. Through a detailed analysis, we identified the main digitalization needs and areas for improvement in asset and port infrastructure management.
As a result, a strategic approach was established, enabling the creation of a BIM documentation framework tailored to the specific requirements of the port environment. Additionally, a technological ecosystem was designed to automate information exchange and auditing throughout the asset lifecycle, using the VIRCORE Common Data Environment. This phase laid the foundation for a structured transition toward fully digital management, fostering an organizational culture focused on efficiency, traceability, and data-driven decision-making.
